Movies to make you give up a Friday night out
Movie selection is sometimes as contentious as who you vote for - or at least it is in our household. After all, it's all in the eye of the beholder. The dvd you choose to watch can often speak volumes about your ethics, values, goals and oddball sense of humour. Of course, other times an apple is just an apple, so reaching for Dirty Dancing needn't mean anything other wanting to relive the music of the 60s rather than wanting to drool over Patrick Swayze. Maybe.
The books below are great movie guides and can help you choose what you might want to watch next. There's a little something here for everyone: women, men, classic movie enthusiasts, must-see movies and faith-based movies.
We'd enjoy hearing from you if you do end up watching any of the films recommended in these books!
