Summary: A beautifully illustrated book telling the story of a Jewish Mother, now a Grandmother, sharing her story of how she survived the concentration Camp Auschwitz and was reunited with her 3 daughters in America. She has a lovely golden necklace that was given to her by her father when he was taken away and this token she was able to pass on to her granddaughter.
Suitable reading for middle primary aged children who are interested in learning about the Jewish Holocaust. Presented in a way that children will be able to understand what took place without being too shocked. A the end of the book the author provides some more detasil about the events that took place during World War II.Further recommendations:
