Quote:

Summary: A beautifully illustrated book telling the story of a Jewish Mother, now a Grandmother, sharing her story of how she survived the concentration Camp Auschwitz and was reunited with her 3 daughters in America. She has a lovely golden necklace that was given to her by her father when he was taken away and this token she was able to pass on to her granddaughter.

Review:

Suitable reading for middle primary aged children who are interested in learning about the Jewish Holocaust.  Presented in a way that children will be able to understand what took place without being too shocked.  A the end of the book the author provides some more detasil about the events that took place during World War II.
