Matariki Teen Art Competition 2010

Terms and conditions

• Any loss or damage of artwork while in transit to Manukau Libraries is the entrant’s responsibility.
• Entries along with properly completed entry forms and Photographic Consent Forms must be received no later than Wednesday 14th July, 5pm. Late submissions will not be accepted.
• The art competition will be judged: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, three Merit prizes and one People’s Choice Award.
• Voting for People’s Choice Award will be made via the website and will be determined from the finalists artwork.
• Judges decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Size of work should be no larger than 1000mm x1000mm.
• Artwork must be an original piece and must not infringe on the protested rights of other artists or violate any applicable copyright laws.
• Entrants must be between the ages of 14-18 years.
• Finalists agree to have their artwork exhibited at the Mangere Arts Centre.
• Installation instructions will be in consultation with the entrant.
• Artwork will be returned only at the prior request of the entrant and is the responsibility of the entrant.  Artwork that is not picked up from your local library before August 30th 2010 will be disposed of.
