Join us for the 'lighting of the tree' ceremony outside the library.
This year's service will be in used in part to commemorate Rev. Vai Peniamina for his hard work in the community, which includes helping to establish Tupu Youth Library. A plaque will be set up near the tree in his honour.
The Tupu Youth Library homework club, teen club and other library regulars will be performing three songs, and free BBQ will be provided.
This is an annual community event in partnership with the Otara Community Board, Dawson Shopping Centre management, Manukau Parks, Fetu I Sasae church (East Tamaki Congregational), Tupu Youth Library and others.
