I work at the Manukau Research Library. My role involves the selection and purchasing of Māori resources for all our libraries, and providing specialist advice and information to members of the public based upon these resources. My role is Outreach Co-ordinator for Māori Services. As part of this role, I promote our Māori collection to the public, liaise with Kura, Kohanga and Wharekura, co-ordinate Māori Events, plan and develop systems targeted for Māori living in Manukau City, but more importantly assist Māori in enhancing their awareness of Māori resources that are available at our libraries.

Tena koutou katoa, my role as Māori Liaison Assistant is to ensure that our Māori community have access to Manukau Libraries quality services and materials. My role also includes the promotion of our Māori Collection at Manurewa Library, as well as visiting various Kohanga Reo in Manurewa to deliver reading programmes and story-time, I roto I Te Reo Maori.
