Specialist advice and assistance

Reference staff are available to assist with enquiries in person or via phone (09 262 5101), fax (09 262 5158) or email (jan.bishara@manukau.govt.nz).

Most general reference and family history resources are available for browsing, but due to space limitations, other material must be requested from stack (the delivery time is generally less than a minute).

Most materials, including heritage items, are available for reference purposes only, although some general interest items may be available for lending.
Items not held by Auckland Libraries can usually be obtained via interloan from other New Zealand libraries.

Internet access, microfilm reader-printers, microfiche readers, and a photocopier are available. Customers wishing to use the microfilm readers should book in advance.

Use of reference materials is free but charges are made for photocopying, faxing, etc. Eftpos is not available.
