Manukau Libraries is proud to announce the winning entries in the 2009 Bernard Gadd Memorial Poetry Prize. In its second year the competition attracted a total of 104 entries from 40 poets.
New poet Nicole Wallace was the winner with 'Notes about Cleo'.
Siobhan Harvey came second with 'Tension at Auckland Airport'.
Barbree Western took third place with her poem 'Roses'.
