Expecting a baby?  Do you live within the airport flight path?  Then Books for Newborns is for you!
 
Every newborn baby living under the flight path to Auckland International Airport will recieve a first book gift pack, thanks to funding from the Auckland Aiport Community Trust.
 
The pack contains:

• A colourful and sturdy board book for baby
• Lots of useful information for parents on early literacy development
  Information on the great services Manukau Libraries offer to families and their babies.

The packs are distributed by Otara and Papatoetoe Plunket nurses and Southseas Healthcare.  Bring the gift pack and your baby into your local library and receive a second free gift.
 
Areas covered by the flight path include parts of Mangere, Otara, Papatoetoe and Flat Bush.
