At Highland Park Library - an interactive program to promote safety.

An interactive program to promote safety for Asians, organized by ACRC and supported by Highland Park Library and Counties Manukau Police.

Aims

  1. To increase awareness on community safety
  2. To develop knowledge and skills on crime prevention
  3. To facilitate community involvement and cooperation in crime prevention
  4. To foster relationship between government /community agencies and the general public

  1. New Zealand legal system
  2. Personal and shopping Safety
  3. Home and family safety

Language - bilingual, English and Chinese.

Three 2-hour sessions on Thursdays, 5th, 12th and 19th of November 2009.
