There is no charge to residents and ratepayers of Manukau city for the following library services:
- Using and enjoying the library facilities
- Borrowing of books, excluding rental items
- Accessing and retrieving most websites
- General information services

Interloans
- All charges are payable whether or not the item is collected
- Charges listed are per item supplied
- Rental charges for CDs and videos, overdue fees and replacement charges for lost items also apply
- In times of high demand, we may restrict interloans to two items per person per week.

Standard $5.00 plus urgent charge of $20.00 or more equivalent to the fee we are charged by the supplying library. |

Standard $5.00 plus additional supply charge as for urgent interloans when ASI is the interloan supplier. |
| Overseas interloan |
$5.00 plus charges levied by suppliers, plus in the case of books the cost of return airmail postage, and urgent fees if applicable. Please contact Manukau Research Library, for further details as the charges vary. |
